The MARE sheet has become the central element of the conference room in the Star Training Center – a training space designed based on the philosophy of the four elements: fire, water, air and earth. The choice of this material for the top of the conference table was not accidental. The MARE sheet is not only aesthetics and modern design, but above all a conscious ecological decision. It was created from fishing nets caught in the Baltic Sea, perfectly fitting into the character of the room inspired by the element of water.
Every meeting at this table can encourage reflection on the problem of pollution of the seas and oceans with plastics. It is worth emphasizing the role of the MARE Foundation, whose activities – including the “Clean Baltic” campaign – made it possible to use recovered nets to create this unique board.
A conference table with a top made of 100% recycled material is not only a functional and aesthetic solution, but also a real step towards sustainable development. It is a responsible choice that can become an inspiration for other office and training spaces.
