Thanks to our many years of engineering experience, we have thoroughly learned and mastered this difficult process of creating plastics from recyclate or grinded waste. We know how great a challenge it is to work with recycled material. We know how original and unique these materials are.
It is not easy to break or damage it mechanically.
Possibility of cutting, milling, grinding, polishing, notching, threading, precise CNC cutting.
It has the same properties as the material from which the waste was made. Chemically resistant (PP and PE). Good resistance to weather conditions.
Under the influence of temperature and, depending on the expected effect, the system of cuts, it is possible to bend and adjust the board to its shape.
The attractive edge shows a cross-section of the material.
Materials with a white base may change shade over time under the influence of UV radiation.
Scratches and minor defects can be sanded off again.
We develop each color composition ourselves. Each material requires tests and individual quality assessment. Plastic waste contains various admixtures and impurities. Due to this, the sheet production process is not easy and constant, and must be supervised. The prepared mixture is heated and pressed in a special press. This is where the material is welded into a solid and durable rectangular sheet.
The material from which we produce boards is made from plastic waste from various sources (strings, packaging, caps…). Each pattern has a certain color tolerance due to the different origins of specific regrinds and regranulates.
We have been working with recycled materials since 2014. These materials are not completely free of impurities and inclusions. It may happen that an air bubble or inclusion of a different color or contamination appears in the plate. This is especially visible in non-standard slabs in the SPECIAL collection.
