MASURIA – sheet and bench
The MASURIA project was born during the work on the concept for the Guiltless Plastic competition. Our goal was to find a material that is a problem in the environment and at the same time is not recycled.
LESS IS… BORING
Recycled plastic in various versions combined with traditional Masurian multi-strand fabric, hand-woven by master weaver Anna Bałdyga. Deep in our plastic heart there is respect for traditional craftsmanship. Probably because working with recycled plastic is also a bit of a niche activity and requires a lot of manual work.
The MASURIA project was born during the work on the concept for the Guiltless Plastic competition. Our goal was to find a material that is a problem in the environment and at the same time is not recycled.
The MARE board has become the central element of the conference room in the Star Training Center – a training space designed based on the philosophy of the four elements: fire, water, air and earth.
Elegant, with organic shapes and circular – these are the Shells tables. Their tops are made of recycled plastic, in a unique color version “White Sloth”. The legs of the tables are made of wood, stained in a deep, dark brown shade.
