We also create custom panels upon request. The “Great Blue” panel, made from HDPE regranulates sourced from post-consumer waste, has been designed so that its blue hue isn’t overly intense. We used semi-transparent regranulate and embedded crushed blue caps to achieve a sense of blue depth.
When it comes to panels made from post-consumer recycled materials, obtaining specific colors of regranulates and crushed materials is quite challenging. It requires precise sorting of colors from the general waste stream. Even in sorted mixtures, there may be specks of other colors, which adds a unique character to each panel. There is a unique conference table at the CANAL+ Polska headquarters. Unique because it is made of a unique countertop made of Boomplastic boards! To make it, we used grinding from packaging and grinding from colorful caps.
